Implementer
The DBSA is increasingly seen by government as a channel which delivers results, and has been asked to expand its role to provide support for implementation of projects, as well as its well established roles of advising on, and financing them. This includes government’s Siyenza Manje project, in partnership with the Department of Provincial and Local Government, and the South African Local Government Association, where the Bank is deploying professional staff with skills in areas such as finance, engineering and project management, to provide hands on support to municipalities.
