Development Planning Division

Technical Document Series

The Development Planning Division plays an important role in the DBSA through generating knowledge that supports and enhances the Bank’s development impact.

A significant component of the Division’s work involves enhancing DBSA internal operations through the provision of relevant information, technical advice and empirical research.

This involves developing technical documents that define and structure how the DBSA works to maximize its efficiency and impact in solving implementation challenges that the Bank and its clients seek to address.

The Development Planning Division Technical Document Series makes these technical documents available to development practitioners, professionals and researchers in the anticipation that they might find the documents of relevance and value to their own work. This is also an opportunity to share information with stakeholders who are interested in how the Bank undertakes its work.

As conditions change, these technical documents will be revised from time to time. For this reason, these documents will be issued Version numbers that will change as they are updated.
