The Development Bank of Southern Africa has hosted its annual Knowledge Week with this year's theme as "Making Local Government Work Better".
The Knowledge Week provides a platform for knowledge practitioners to share knowledge interact and debate on topical development issues that have an impact on the aspirations of South Africa and the region.
The focal theme of "Making Local Government Work" is timely given the growing agitation in several communities for a rapid and marked improvement in municipal service delivery. This despite a range of interventions put in place by government and its partners, including the DBSA, to assist with improving service delivery.
