Information Function
 
The fundamental purpose of the Information Function is to be the pre-eminent provider of development and infrastructure related information to the DBSA and the development fraternity at large, including communities, local, provincial and national government, SADC countries, and other development institutions in southern Africa. The importance of reliable, appropriate and timeous information for development planning purposes cannot be overestimated as it provides a sound basis for decision making.
