DBSA Vulindlela Academy ... (Vulindlela) is a training academy set up to deliver relevant capacity building training programmes mainly to the local government in South Africa and the SADC Development Finance Institutions.
Vulindlela is an accredited training provider and works in close cooperation with DPLG, National Treasury, SALGA, LGSETA and many other stakeholder institutions. Since its inception in 2004, Vulindlela Academy has managed to secure full accreditation with the Local Government Sector Training and Education Authority (LGSETA) and has trained several hundreds of delegates in the municipalities and the SADC DFI’s.
The Vulindlela Academy is positioning itself as a premium public sector capacity development agency in Southern Africa. It offers specialized and focused training and capacity development in the fields of infrastructure development and poverty relief, and its primary focus is on reducing capacity deficiencies in Local Government. The well equipped large lecture hall, which includes full translation facilities, and the smaller workshop rooms, gives the Vulindlela Academy international convening power. The leading edge technology makes provision for virtual training, video conferencing and simultaneous broadcasting of training across Southern Africa.
