DBSA to Host Municipal Infrastructure Delivery Webinar

27 September 2021, Johannesburg - The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), National Treasury and the European Union are hosting a webinar that will unpack the impact of the Infrastructure Investment Programme of South Africa (IIPSA).  The webinar will be streamed live from 10h00 to 12h00 on 30 September 2021.

IIPSA, an EU funded programme managed by the DBSA was designed to fast-track infrastructure delivery in municipalities. The programme was instrumental in fast tracking municipal infrastructure delivery and capacitating municipalities through the development of Long-Term Financing Plans (LTFP).

The webinar will unpack the learnings and successes of IIPSA and deliberate on potential solutions to promote partnerships between municipalities, the private sector, development finance institutions and other stakeholders to mobilize long-term financing for municipal infrastructure investment and service delivery.
