The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) is pleased to announce the implementation of a new digital procurement platform, designed to streamline processes and enhance supplier engagement.

The DBSA is introducing the “SCM Portal” as part of its ongoing commitment to digital transformation and the modernization of procurement practices.

How will these changes impact you?

  • All suppliers are required to REGISTER (Once-Off) on to participate in upcoming opportunities.

  • All procurement activities including supplier clarifications will be done on “SCM Portal”  in a PHASED APPROACH.

    • Phase 1 – Effective 27 October 2025
      • Requests for Quotations (RFQs) Below R1MIL
    • Phase 2 – To be Communicated
      • Requests for Information (RFIs)
      • Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

    • The National Treasury eTender Portal
    • The DBSA website
