SIDF Disclosure

The Southern African Industrial Decarbonization Facility (“SIDF” or the “Programme”) is a blended finance facility designed to accelerate industrial decarbonization and enabling infrastructure in South Africa and Namibia. It is part of an umbrella fund namely Climate Investor 3 (CI3) managed by Climate Fund Managers (“CFM”).  CI3 is specifically designed to address the challenges of industrial decarbonization and it envisages a national approach, facilitated by CI3 Global as a central feeder and focusing on South Africa (via “SA-H2 Fund”) and Namibia (via “Namibia SDG One”).

The Municipal Utility Reform Programme Disclosure Document

This FA ESMP report presents the South Africa Municipal Reforms for Energy and Water-Mpumalanga Municipality Results-Based Financing (RBF) Program, led by the Government of South Africa. The Municipal Utility Reform Programme (MURP) program aims to enhance energy and water utility efficiency across municipalities including eMalahleni, Lekwa, Govan Mbeki, and Mbombela; and strengthen municipal energy and water service delivery in selected Mpumalanga municipalities through Performance Based Contracts (PBC), infrastructure upgrades, and institutional capacity building.

EGIP Sub-project Disclosure Documents

The Applicant, Western Cape Wind Farm (Pty) Ltd, is planning to develop the Western Cape Wind Energy Facility (WEF) on a site approximately 15km southwest of Swellendam in the Western Cape. The project proposes the installation of up to 24 wind turbine generators (WTG), each with a nominal generation capacity of up to 5.6MW and a total combined generation capacity of up to 140MW for national distribution and which would contribute to targets for renewable energy generation in South Africa and the Province.
